Books completed since I started: 1: Stardust by Neil Gaiman
Comments about this hour: Better. Still not getting many minutes in per hour for reading though! :/ Stardust was really good. I think the distance I had between the movie and the book was beneficial, and that I saw the film first, also. My husband called this [film] the next Princess Bride.

wow – I loved Stardust the movie (have yet to read, it’s on tbr) and I, too, said it was almost another Princess Bride! but my Hub thinks PB is much better. whatever.
Thanks for helping with the RAT prizes!
You’re doing great with all that reading and helping Dewey out!!
Keep up the reading and thanks so much for all your help!!!
I’ve heard that Princess Bride comparison before. I hope you enjoy the Alexander McCall Smith! I haven’t read that series yet, but I’ve read and really enjoyed some of his other books.
Happy reading, and thanks for all the great work

Glad you are enjoying the Detective Agency books – I’ve really liked them a lot. I’ve never heard of Stardust, so I think I’m going to have to borrow, but not until I’ve seen the movie. : )
Trish — nope; this 24-hour read-a-thon doesn’t end until 11 a.m. tomorrow.
