		<description><![CDATA[Maybe. Amazon doesn&#039;t label the edition I have as mass-market, and the size isn&#039;t what I think of as mass-market, at: 7.8 x 5.1 x 0.7 inches. I thought having a date in there was important for copyright notification to the buyer.

The original publication date of The Banquet Bug (U.S. hardback edition) was July 1, 2006.   Given your description, including size of margins, etc., I suspect you may have been reading the mass-market paperback edition.  I&#039;m surprised it didn&#039;t have publication data.  That is either an odd policy on Hyperion&#039;s part or else a real oversight.  

I was in Beijing during the Olympics, and it was as if I had walked into the Banquet Bug story.  I saw instances of what it described at every turn.]]></description>
