Daisy chain(s)

I read a book called Daisy Chain.

Daisy Chain by Mary E. DeMuth

I read a book with daisy chains (and daisy-chain making) on the cover.

Things Worth Remembering by Jackina Stark

These are not the same book.

Daisy chains is what Jessica at Both Eyes Book Blog calls anything that seems like a funny coincidence, unexpected similarities or shared properties/language amongst books. (She apparently got the name from Rebecca, but I associate the idea with Jessica.)

So, daisy chains I’ve collected/noticed recently:

  • Perspective shifts without any sort of signifier
The Last Christian by David Gregory
The Six-Liter Club by Harry Kraus
    Hero’s Tribute by Graham Garrison
  • Is this a trend now? Common?

  • Military housing
    Hero’s Tribute by Graham Garrison
The Christmas Glass by Marci Alborghetti
  • Twin sisters
    Dangerous Neighbors by Beth Kephart
The Christmas Glass by Marci Alborghetti

What daisy chains have you noticed recently?
